Duis Nursery, Inc. is located 6 miles
east of Bedford, VA on US Route 460. We are a wholesale nursery
specializing in container-grown trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. All
of our plants are selected for their hardiness.
Please note the zone for each plant is listed in our catalog to aid you in
your selection.

We sell only to businesses currently
involved in the Wholesale or Retail Redistribution of Plants,
including: Landscape Contractors, Building Contractors, Nurseries and
Garden Centers.
Our staff is not equipped to handle retail customers, therefore,
please do not send your customers to our nursery unaccompanied.

Pricing:
|
The current prices
in this catalog cancel all prices in former catalogs,
and are subject to change without notice. As petroleum prices
increase, so do production costs;
therefore, it is highly possible that our catalog prices will increase
this year without notice.
|
| Please note we grow
limited quantities in certain varieties of shrubs & trees. Always call for
pricing and availability prior to bidding work. |
Placing an Order:
|
We ask that pick-up orders be placed at
least one day in advance and delivered orders 3 days in advance. This will
help avoid delay in receiving and loading your plants.
|
|
There is no minimum needed for all
pick-up orders.
|
|
«APRIL
16TH – DEC.31ST- We will hold your called-in order for 7 business days,
without a deposit. In order to hold your order for 8-14 business days,
a 10% non-refundable deposit is required.
After 14 business days, the order will be returned to open stock.
|
|
RESTOCKING FEE: There is a
$25.00
restocking fee for all cancelled orders that have already been pulled.
|
|
|
SPRING ORDERS: We
accept spring orders starting January 1
and require pick up or delivery
by April 15. Unless special
arrangements have been made, orders not picked up or delivered by these
dates will be returned to open stock and a 10% restocking fee will be
charged. |
|
Please be sure to bring a tarp or adequate covering to protect your
plant material on your truck. We have
plastic tarps available for a nominal fee. |
Delivery:
|
Delivery is based on a full truck. We
do our best to accommodate, however the exact delivery date requested may
not be possible.
|
|
When we arrive at your business,
someone must meet our driver, verify the order, and help unload. Any
discrepancies should be noted on invoice at time of delivery.
If customer wishes to have the driver unload without
assistance, a minimum $50.00 surcharge will be added to the invoice.
You must notify us in advance if you want our driver to unload your
order unassisted. |
Terms of Sale:
|
Thirty days credit will be offered to those with a prompt payment
record and a satisfactory credit application. All other customers
must pay upon receipt of their plant material by cash, check, or credit
card. There is a $35 service charge for all returned checks plus
cost of collection, if any.

Overdue accounts are subject to an 18%
per annum finance charge plus the cost of collection, if any.
|
|
All accounts over 60 days will be converted to a cash only basis.
Finance charges must be paid in order for accounts to be considered
current.
|
Guarantee:
| We guarantee our plants
to be healthy and true to name. Although we strive to sell only the
highest quality plant materials, we can offer no warranty. All
claims must be made within 10 days. |

•MINIMUM DELIVERY FEES: Due to increasing production costs, and, in order to improve
our services, we have found it necessary to establish minimum delivery revenue.
Listed below are the fees needed to deliver to various geographical regions.
If the total percentage-based delivery fees on multiple-order deliveries are greater than
the minimum fee, then each customer will be charged the applicable percentage of his/her invoice.
On single customer deliveries, the delivery fee will be based on the minimum delivery fee
OR the applicable % of invoice, whichever is greater.
