Founded by William H. Duis in 1952, we cater to landscapers
and garden centers and we pride ourselves in the high-quality of our
products. We grow a wide range of plants in order to provide our customers
with many choices in their design applications. Furthermore, we have begun
to “re-wholesale” items that we do not grow or that are temporarily out of
stock.
All of our plants are selected for their hardiness. As you study our
pricelist, you will see that we grow a selection of evergreens and flowering
shrubs that will withstand even the harshest Virginia winters. And we
specialize in those hollies and azaleas that have been especially bred for
Zones 5 and 6. We are again growing hardy Camellias that will thrive in
Piedmont Virginia if properly located in the landscape.
Our trees are grown in “pot-in-pot” systems that allow us to harvest them
365 days a year with no transplant shock. And our perennials, grown in one
gallon containers, are fully over-wintered in cold houses or outside and are
ready for the landscape.
